Over the years, Terry has been credited with numerous examples of value creation successes; he typically researches and identifies the acquisition targets, acquires the entities and operates the under-valued companies to create wealth for investors. He is known for creating enterprise value through both organic growth and strategic add-on investments.
Terry personally leads Pierpont's portfolio companies, where he works closely and confidentially with senior leadership and executive boards to establish and implement "cutting edge" corporate growth strategies and new ventures and acquisitions within the organizations.
Terry is a noted speaker, as well as the author of

Growth Strategies and the Globalization of Services. At the University of
Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where he has been a faculty member for over
15 years, he teaches top-rated entrepreneurial value creation leadership courses.
He holds a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics.
